Job summary

Award Care Health Group is looking for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our family-oriented skilled nursing team in Florida. You will provide direct patient care during 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm and contribute to a supportive, caring environment.

New grads are welcome, and you may supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation. A $225 bi-weekly bonus is offered along with our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN license.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents and patients in a skilled nursing home.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each resident.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.
• Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
• Provide nursing services and conduct evaluations of residents' medical status upon admission and during treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) care giver provides direct patient care to the residents and patients of the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home), assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.
• Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
• Provide nursing services.
• Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
