Job summary

Award Care Health Group seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team in Florida. You will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the care plan under supervision of a registered nurse.

New grads are welcome. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with day and night rotations. We offer a bi-weekly bonus and a team-focused, compassionate work environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN license.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing home setting.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in evaluations.
• Oversee Falls and Pressure Sore programs.
• Provide nursing services and document patient status.
• Conduct thorough evaluations upon admission and during treatment.

Major Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) care giver provides direct patient care to the residents and patients of the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home), assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.
• Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
• Provide nursing services.
• Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
• IV Certified preferrable
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
