Job summary

Award Care is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our family-driven team in Florida. This role offers FT Day 7a-7p or Night 7p-7a shifts, and PT Day 7a-7p shifts.

New graduates are welcome to apply, recognizing the supportive, team-oriented culture we provide. As an LPN, you will deliver direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting, supervise CNAs, and participate in care programs such as Falls and Pressure Sore prevention.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under the direction of a professional nurse.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.
• Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
• Provide nursing services to residents.
• Conduct and document evaluations of residents' medical status.

Major Responsibilities -Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) care giver provides direct patient care to the residents and patients of the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home), assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident.

• Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.

• Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.

• Provide nursing services.

• Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications -Licensed Practical Nurse
