Job summary

Valley View Village is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our caring team. The role offers an evening shift with a $5,000 bonus and a people-first environment at a Cassia community in Des Moines, IA.

PSLF eligibility in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments and new staffing patterns support work-life balance. As an LPN, you’ll administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and follows up as needed.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Monitors residents and reports changes in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
• Monitors the performance of CNA staff.
• Uses strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.

Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team! Our community qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments. We’re also introducing new staffing patterns and shifts —designed to enhance flexibility and work-life balance for our team. We are offering a $5,000 bonus for evening shifts!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Valley View Village, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position Type:

Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Shifts Available:

Evening 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Night: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Wage Range:

$29.63 to $36.12 / per hour depending on experience

Bonus:

$5,000 for evenings only

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
