Job summary

The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, FL is hiring LPNs for our 109-bed skilled nursing facility, offering Daily Pay, health insurance, PTO, and flexible scheduling. You will provide direct patient care in long-term and rehabilitative settings under state guidelines.

We require an active Florida LPN license, CPR, and a preference for 2+ years of nursing experience. This role emphasizes teamwork with physicians, residents, and families to achieve positive outcomes and high-quality care.

• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
• Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements
• Maintains confidentiality and patient rights

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
