The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a full-time, Monday–Friday 3 PM–11 PM shift. The 109-bed skilled nursing facility in St. Petersburg offers Daily Pay, benefits, and immediate openings.

Walk-in interviews are held daily (except Thursdays) from 10 AM to 3 PM. We provide comprehensive benefits and opportunities for overtime, with a supportive team and telemedicine access for staff and families.

Qualifications

• LPN license with State or Multistate license.
• CPR Certification required.
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information
