Job summary

The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time roles at up to $34.25 per hour. This 109-bed skilled nursing facility offers competitive pay, daily pay, and immediate openings located in St. Petersburg, FL.

Join a team focused on short-term rehab, long-term care, and compassionate resident care. Walk-in interviews are held daily (except Thursday) from 10 AM to 3 PM at the St. Petersburg location, with background screening required.

Qualifications

• LPN license required (State or Multistate)
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Follow infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborate with resident's interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identify and report all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Work under direct supervision in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and center policies
• Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
• Collect patient/resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information
• Implement and evaluate the patient/resident plan of care per regulations
• Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in select situations
• Maintain knowledge of documentation requirements
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance and use

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
