Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - $35 Weekend Only

Join Noland Health Services, Inc. as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend shifts at a pay rate of $35 per hour.

Job Summary

The LPN will provide direct resident care according to care plans, policies, procedures, and nursing standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, informing staff accordingly.
• Regularly assess residents' physical and emotional status.
• Supervise Nursing/Resident Care Assistants and report concerns.
• Document care activities following policies and regulations.
• Chart nurse’s notes clearly and comprehensively.
• Report discrepancies and issues in resident care.
• Transcribe and verify physician orders.
• Administer and document medications as prescribed.
• Complete assessments for assigned residents each shift.
• Communicate resident status and shift updates to staff.
• Coordinate with physicians, residents, families, and staff regarding clinical information and changes.
• Perform direct resident care as needed.
• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare facility experience.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Mobility and physical strength to perform job duties.
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand or walk for 75% of the shift.
• Ability to handle mental and emotional stress.
