Job summary

Lake Ridge Care Center, part of Cassia, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Buffalo, MN team. This part-time role supports residents with compassionate, high-quality care in a team-driven environment.

The LPN will administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care under physician orders. A Minnesota license and BLS are required; evening shifts run 2:00 pm–6:00 pm with an hourly wage range and a $2,500 bonus for part-time staff.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available:

Evening: 2:00 pm - 6 pm

Wage Range:$29.25 - $36.54 / hour depending on experience

Bonus: $2,500 (Part-Time)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN Nursing license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
