Avalon Care Center Yakima is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our compassionate team. New graduates are welcome to apply.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $40.00 to $46.09, with multiple scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities across Day, Evening, and Night shifts. Eligible candidates will have a current LPN license, knowledge of geriatric care, and the ability to work under supervision to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in the practicing state.
• Complies with state and federal rules for nursing facilities.
• Demonstrates infection control knowledge and practices.
• Background check, references, and vaccine attestation required.
• Recent geriatrics experience or education.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and modification of the resident care plan under supervision.
• Deliver nursing care and related services within licensed scope.
• Provide patient care consistent with facility policies and state regulations.

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or other health care provider authorized by the state; the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the development, implementation and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents and will practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for the delivery of patient care and related services.

Qualifications:

• Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in practicing state.
• Demonstrates understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements of either having been vaccinated or present documentation needed for a medical or religious exemption.
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
