Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care with the RN and physician's plan of care.
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions when giving patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events or significant patient changes.

Shift Differential Pay

• Every Weekend with a $5.00/hour shift differential
• Hours between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. include a $1.50/hour shift differential

• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.

• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.
