Job summary

Join Parachute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Center Medical team in Vincennes, IN. This full-time position focuses on donor health and safety, performing health screenings, and ensuring a welcoming environment for donors.

The LPN will collaborate with center staff, manage health logs, and support phlebotomy and other center functions as needed. A strong CPR/BLS certification and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma, GED or higher education
• Certified/licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends regularly or as needed

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

What Youll Do

As an LPN (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. Youll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities
