Job summary

Pleasantview Nursing Center is hiring a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care. NEW WAGES!!!!

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring resident needs are met. The LPN also assists in orienting and supervising nursing staff and handles daily unit operations per shift, with leadership responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans.
• Support orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Manage daily unit operations per shift and assume leadership as needed.

He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
