Job summary

Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing team in Cooperstown, NY.

We offer new higher rates with an evening shift differential and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus Daily Pay through a trusted provider. Duties include data collection at admission, vital signs, medication administration, wound care, CNAs supervision, and daily resident assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must hold a valid LPN state license.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new Residents to admit.
• Record health details including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores.
• May supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Help Residents with dressing and personal hygiene.
• Monitor Residents' food and liquid intake and output.

DUTIES:

• Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted.

• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.

• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.

• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.

• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.

• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member.

• Valid LPN State license.

• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
