New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Paltz, NY is actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and pay up to $32.65 per hour, with base rates from $28.33 to $31.90 plus a $0.75 evening/night differential.

This role includes patient care, administering medications, wound care, and assisting CNAs. Daily pay is available. Must have a valid NY LPN license and be in good standing; be a team player.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Valid NY State LPN license.
• In good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Record health details of Residents including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May supervise CNAs.
• Help Residents get dressed and maintain personal hygiene.
• Monitor Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature
• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed

• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• HelpingResidents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene
