Job summary

Hickory-House is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for adults with addictions and behavioral health issues, following physician plans and orders. The LPN must work independently and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act.

The role includes timely medical record documentation, clinical judgment in care delivery, and collaboration with Behavioral Health Technicians. On-call duties and compliance with regulations are required.

Qualifications

Primary Purpose and Function

All Candidates must be licensed by the State of Indiana with no stipulations. The LPN will be responsible for the healthcare of both female and male clients suffering from addictions and behavioral health issues. The LPN must be able to adhere to the plan of care set forth by the physician on all physician orders, medications and treatments. The LPN must be able to perform all duties independently and use safe practice standards according to the Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• At least 1-year prior experience as an LPN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
• Certified BLS provider obtained within 1 month prior to hire
• Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
• Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR
