About the Role
Working under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the LPN provides nursing support and helps ensure youth receive timely, coordinated, and comprehensive healthcare. Responsibilities include:
Assess and respond to youth health needs, including health screenings, monitoring, and follow-up care.
Provide health education, coaching, and wellness support to youth, including support with Healthy Eating Plans.
Support medication administration practices, health-related training, and other Health Department activities.
Provide backup on-call nursing coverage during Nurse Manager absences.
