Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adults with developmental disabilities in Seymour, IN. The role focuses on individual health care management, routine site visits, vitals, assessments, and medication documentation in our residential facilities.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with no weekends, typically 8am-5pm. On-call rotation may apply; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, Training, and 401(k) with employer match after one year.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
• 1-2 years experience with disabilities or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality health care management to individuals.
• Conduct vitals, assessments, and medication administration documentation.
• Act as health resource and train staff in medical arena.
• Conduct medication audits and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in Seymour, IN.

What You Get To Do:

• Ensure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health
• Conducting routine site visits, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress
• Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training staff in the medical arena
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records

Schedule:

• Full-time Monday-Friday with occasional travel required;flexible hours
• Participate in an on-call rotation for triage of medical concerns for 1 week per month

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• CurrentLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check
