Job summary

Dungarvin in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support residents with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities. The role focuses on delivering individualized health care and ensuring optimal wellness across sites.

The position involves routine vitals, assessments, medication administration support, and staff training. Strong teamwork and a flexible, dependable approach are essential for success in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Indiana required.
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred.
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health.
• Conducting routine site visits, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress.
• Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training staff in the medical arena.
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications.
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records.

Job Description

We are seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in Indianapolis, IN.
