PowerBack Rehabilitation in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver efficient and compassionate nursing care under the direction of an RN, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and high patient/family satisfaction. Responsibilities include evaluating residents, contributing to assessments and care planning, administering medications and treatments, and supervising unlicensed staff.

Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program and currently licensed; BLS/CPR certification

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
