Job summary

Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking an LPN for full-time night and evening shifts. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality resident care.

The role offers competitive hourly wages ($35–$42), weekly pay, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. New grads welcome and state licensure is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• CPR certification.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state, or in the process of obtaining one.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care.
• Follow physician's orders, render, and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders.
• Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
• Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary.

Our LPNs will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to our residents, while also supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant. With a competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $42, depending on the shift and weekly pay.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
• CPR certification
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state, or in the process of obtaining one

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• Leadership and supervisory ability, with the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
