Ciena Healthcare in Michigan is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to oversee and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts under the Director of Nursing. You will supervise CNAs/STNAs, ensure continuity of care, and be a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Formación

• LPN license is required to practice in the state.
• CPR certification current or within 90 days of employment.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Educación

Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment

This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.
