Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Richmond, VA is hiring an LPN for full-time or part-time roles. The position offers $32-$37/hour (all inclusive) with Daily Pay and a supportive, compassionate team focused on resident well-being.

You will provide patient care, follow care plans, administer medications, and document care. Requirements include an active LPN license in Virginia and valid BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per standards and written care plans.
• Follow individualized care plans developed with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments as per POC.
• Monitor residents, report changes promptly to supervising staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and care plans.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of va.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
