Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 190-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, is seeking an LPN to join our compassionate team. The role delivers safe, person-centered care under the supervision of a Nurse Manager with an interdisciplinary team.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, daily pay, competitive $32-$37/hour all-inclusive, tuition reimbursement, benefits, 401(k) and shift differentials, in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current active LPN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS CPR.
• Ability to care for multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with standards, plan of care, and physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments per plan of care and policies.
• Monitor residents, report changes promptly to supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and families.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.

• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.

• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.

• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.

• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of va.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
