Job summary

Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support the Emergency/acute care unit. You will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans under supervision to ensure patient needs are met and care quality remains high.

Responsibilities include assisting with orientation of staff, coordinating daily unit operations per shift, and stepping into leadership tasks as required to maintain smooth unit performance.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse credential is required.
• Less than one year of nursing experience preferred.

The expanded, modernized 49-bed ED features larger treatment rooms designed for efficiency, comfort, and the care your patients deserve, along with enhanced workspaces built for collaboration and a dedicated Behavioral Health treatment area.

Summary

Under the supervision of the Unit leadership and Unit charge nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the residents are met; assists in the orientation of the supervision of nursing personnel; and attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Pay Range: $26.38 to $40.89 Based On Experience
