Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time assignment in Olympia, WA. The 20-hour per week role starts ASAP and runs through June 10, 2027, with ongoing supervision by an RN or licensed provider.

You will provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, and support care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Washington LPN license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LPN license in good standing.
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to provide care within the Washington State LPN scope of practice.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in schools, clinics, long‑term care, home health, or hospitals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or licensed provider.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Implement assigned components of individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor health status, document care, and promptly report changes to supervising clinicians.

In this role, you'll provide compassionate nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed provider. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or licensed provider
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments within the LPN scope of practice
• Implement assigned components of individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor health status, document care, and promptly report changes to supervising clinicians
• Assist RNs with more complex care needs as appropriate
• Follow infection control procedures, professional standards, and organizational policies
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential health information

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State LPN license in good standing
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to provide care within the Washington State LPN scope of practice
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Experience in schools, clinics, long‑term care, home health, or hospitals preferred
• Familiarity with Washington State Board of Nursing guidance preferred
• Experience supporting diverse populations and using trauma‑informed care practices preferred
• Availability to work 20 hours per week through June 10, 2027
• Ability to complete required onboarding and background checks
