Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join their care team. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will monitor, plan, and implement nursing care for residents and ensure continuity of care across shifts.

Candidates should hold a Florida LPN license, have experience in long-term care or PCC preferred, and be able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license/registration required.
• Experience in long-term care and PCC preferred.
• Good physical and mental health; able to work independently or in a group.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working LPN to join their ever-growing team. Today, under new ownership, we are creating an inimitable, revitalizing Rehabilitation Environment to provide the short term patient with a luxurious, five-star experience that meets and exceeds all expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor, plan and implementthe nursing care of residents within the facility under direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Ensures continuity of care of residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and support staff members.
• Participates in resident and family teaching.
• Serves as resident advocate with focus on the facilitys mission.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current/valid Florida LPN license/registration.
• Previous experience in long term care and Point Click Care (PCC) preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Salary: $28.00 per hour.
