Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join their care team. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will monitor, plan, and implement nursing care for residents and ensure continuity of care across shifts.

Candidates should hold a Florida LPN license, have experience in long-term care or PCC preferred, and be able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license/registration required.
• Experience in long-term care and PCC preferred.
• Good physical and mental health; able to work independently or in a group.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan and implement nursing care for residents under RN direction.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts; supervise CNAs and support staff.
• Participate in resident and family teaching.
• Advocate for residents in line with facility mission.
