Job summary

Relapath is seeking an LPN to join our client in the Greater Myrtle Beach area for a direct-hire opportunity. The LPN will provide care per SC scope of practice, including data collection, medication administration, patient interventions, assessments, and basic health teaching.

Responsibilities include enabling pre-authorizations, injections, medication assistance, charting in EMR, patient education, triage calls, rooming patients, and supporting staff training.

Qualifications

• SC LPN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years LPN experience preferred.
• Proficient in health data collection and EMR use.
• Ability to perform injections and patient teaching.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication pre-authorizations and refill requests.

• Process patient assistance applications for specialty meds.
• Review formulary changes for neurological meds.
• Maintain pharmaceutical sample supply program.

• Rooming patients and data collection, vitals.
• Send referrals and manage faxes to staff.

Relapath is currently seeking a LPN in the Greater Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island areas for a direct-hire opportunity with our client. The LPN is responsible for care as reflected in the SC LPN scope of practice including health data collection, administering medications, implementing patient interventions, assessing patient responses, and basic health teaching.

Specific Responsibilities Include

• Perform medication pre-authorizations and refill requests
• Authorize and perform CGRP injections
• Process patient assistance applications for specialty medications
• Research and review prescription formulary changes / requirements for neurological medications
• Order and maintain pharmaceutical sample supply program
• Perform pre-certifications for procedures and infusions
• Provide follow-up to lab results and medication changes
• CPT and diagnosis code determinations
• Assisting physician with patient set-up and preparations
• Perform nurse visits and patient education
• Triaging incoming phone calls
• Check-in and check-out when needed
• Rooming patients and performing data collections, vitals, EMR input
• Sending outgoing referrals and managing fax in-box / distributing faxes to proper staff
• Ordering / managing general inventory and office supplies
• Complete daily logbooks
• Assist with staff training
• Back up assistance with Botox injections, point of care contact, chart preparations, data collection, vitals, and EMR input
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 2 years previous experience as an LPN preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.

Licenses / Certifications

LPN Licensure with South Carolina Board of Nursing required.

Knowledge / Skills

Possesses skills and abilities required in a multifaceted environment in addition to those related to nursing.

Computer knowledge, required.

Phlebotomy Skills And Experience, Preferred.
