Job summary

Redeemer Health Care Center, a Cassia senior community in Minneapolis, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate team. The LPN will administer medications, coordinate resident care, and support a dedicated team focused on excellent outcomes for older adults.

We offer up to a $2,500 bonus, flexible Part-Time roles, and shifts from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Located at 625 W 31st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408, with competitive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN license required.
• CPR certified preferred or willing to get.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes and follows up as needed.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the shift.

Days 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Evenings 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Wage Range:

$31.79 to $36.89 / hour depending on experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff

• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota LPN license required
• CPR certified preferred or willing to get
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team
