Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Lansdowne, PA, is seeking an LPN to support residents in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain routines for recovery.

Responsibilities include administering medications under physician direction, ensuring adherence to the treatment plan, giving Mantoux testing, drawing blood, and training staff on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
• Ability to work independently with residents
• Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

Responsibilities

• Administer/dispense medication under physician direction
• Ensure the treatment plan is followed
• Give and interpret Mantoux testing
• Complete blood draws
• Assist in staff training on health and safety, CPR and First Aid
• Educate clients about methadone maintenance, detoxification, lab results and other medical matters
• Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and coordinate outside services as needed

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
• Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
• Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

Responsibilities:

• Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician
• Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed
• Giving and interpreting Mantoux Testing
• Complete blood draws
• Assists in training staff in medical and health and safety matters as well as assisting in properly maintaining medical equipment.
• Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure.
• Educates clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification as well as side effects and provides education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.
• Educates pregnant patients about prenatal care and assists primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
