Job summary
Riverwood Center in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and support daily clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. This role ensures residents receive quality care in accordance with established standards and regulations.
The position offers both full-time and part-time shifts (evening, night and day), opportunities for training and career growth, and a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of employment.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with time-management skills.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- EMR experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in resident condition.
- Document assessments and care provided in the EMR.
- Assist residents with daily needs as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
- Support the nursing team to ensure high-quality care delivery.

- Maintain infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Support the nursing team to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery
- Current LPN license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with effective time-management skills
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- EMR experience preferred but not required
