Job summary

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work in short term rehabilitation and long term care, reporting to the Unit Director.

You will develop individualized nursing care plans, supervise nursing personnel, and participate in daily unit operations per shift, assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.

Georgia LPN licensure is required; graduation from an approved LPN program is required; geriatric or rehabilitative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• The LPN must graduate from an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in Georgia.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative care preferred.

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a LPN to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary:

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
