Job summary

iCare Health Network is seeking a Charge Nurse/LPN role at East Windsor facilities. Starting pay is $31.83 per hour with shift differentials and a projected annual compensation up to $76,004, including overtime and other paid wages.

The position involves medication administration, treatments and daily living assistance for residents, with leadership responsibilities for CNAs to ensure quality care and efficient unit operation.

Qualifications

• CT nursing license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute care and/or long-term care in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in rehabilitation or behavioral health is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the optimal achievable quality of care rendered to each resident on the assigned Unit.
• The Charge Nurse shall coordinate, assign, direct and prioritize the work of other staff members (primarily CNAs) in order to ensure the efficient operation of the nursing unit.
• Makes independent decisions relevant to nursing care which are required and delivered to each resident as per the nursing assignments.
• Documents change in patient’s condition, new orders received, unusual occurrences and report of incidents including employee injuries.

LPN starting rate is $31.83/hr plus shift differentials. Average up to $76,004 projected total annual compensation is based on actual average earnings by current LPNs and includes overtime and other paid wages in East Windsor facilities.

Primary responsibilities of the Charge Nurse include providing medication administration, treatments, and assistance with activities of daily living for facility residents.

Responsibilities:

• Documents change in patient’s condition, new orders received, unusual occurrences and report of incidents including employee injuries. Reports unusual occurrences to the RN Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• A current, unencumbered CT nursing license is required
• Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in acute care and/or long term care in a skilled nursing facility
• Experience in rehabilitation or behavioral health is a plus
• Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required
• EMR experience preferred
