Job summary

Brookhaven Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on nursing care to residents and support the unit's clinical and leadership needs. You will collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

New graduates welcome to apply; immediate openings available. Per diem evening and weekend shifts are offered with various schedule options to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Current NJ LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN or vocational nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• TB screening upon hire.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist physicians during rounds and exams.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and care team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality regulations.

Pay Rate: $29 to $35 Per Hour

Schedule Options:

3pm to 11pm - Per Diem and Weekends

11p to 7a - Per Diem and Weekends
