Job summary

Brookhaven Center in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on nursing care to residents and support the unit's clinical needs.

The role requires current NJ LPN license, ability to work independently and with a team, and strong communication skills. Compensation ranges from $29 to $35 per hour, with options for 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am shifts, per diem and weekend availability. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current NJ LPN license required.
• Graduate of accredited LPN or vocational nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a care team.
• Upon hire, TB screening required.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation.
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist physicians during rounds and exams.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and care team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality regulations.
