Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and support daily clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. This role ensures residents receive quality care in accordance with established standards and regulations.

You will administer medications, monitor resident conditions, document in EMR, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care, including weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Florida.
• Graduated from a licensed practical nursing program.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with weekend and holiday schedules.

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and support daily clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. This role ensures residents receive quality care in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor, record, and report changes in resident condition
• Document assessments and care provided in the electronic medical record
• Assist residents with daily needs as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
• Support the nursing team to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of employment
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Detail-oriented with effective time-management skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• EMR experience preferred but not required
