About Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our dedicated team! For over 15 years, we have provided seniors with opportunities to enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. Our Brooklyn Park campus features 142 independent and assisted living apartments, memory care units, and 64 long-term and transitional care suites, fostering a vibrant, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse include:

1. Providing direct care to residents according to individual care plans, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
2. Monitoring and documenting resident care using charting software.
3. Communicating significant changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Manager, physicians, and families, and taking necessary follow-up actions.
4. Overseeing and guiding Nursing Assistants (NARs).
5. Maintaining a positive attitude and respectful interactions with residents, families, and staff.

Work Schedule:

Positions available include working every other weekend and holiday, with shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (16 - 24 hours per two-week pay period).

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current MN LPN license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Preferred: at least one year of nursing experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good judgment and integrity.
• Strong commitment to compassionate care.
• Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs, including resident transfers.
• CPR Certification.
