Job summary

vTech Solution seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assess residents and administer medications in accordance with the 5 Rights, reporting changes to the charge nurse and physicians within a long-term care setting.

The role includes assisting CNAs, communicating updates to families, and ensuring compliance with facility policies. Evening shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, full-time, with every other weekend in Arkansas.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents following the 5 Rights protocol.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Notify the charge nurse of any changes in resident condition.
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other resident care responsibilities.
• Update physicians, family members, and other relevant parties about resident condition changes as needed.
• Perform additional duties as requested by supervisory staff.

The LPN also communicates updates to family members and ensures compliance with facility policies regarding resident care and safety.
