Join our compassionate team at Apple Valley Village Health Care Center as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! We offer competitive wages of $29 - $35/hour based on experience, along with benefits such as student loan repayment assistance, scholarships, and two sets of free scrubs. We are a 4-star rated, 162-bed long-term care and rehabilitation center seeking passionate and dedicated nursing professionals to make a difference in residents' lives. Positions are part-time, benefit-eligible, with varied schedules including every other weekend, evening (2:15 pm - 10:45 pm), or night shifts (10:30 pm - 7:00 am).

Nurse Responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents.
2. Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes related to aging adults.
3. Display courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
4. Administer medications and treatments as per physician’s orders, monitoring effectiveness.
5. Manage medications, supplies, and equipment following policies.
6. Document care using computerized software.
7. Notify appropriate personnel of significant resident changes and follow up as needed.
8. Perform additional duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
