Job summary

Responsibilities

• Uses Infection Control Manual guidance in daily practice
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge)
• Educates families and patients
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy
• Receives/transcribes and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary
