Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

Amsterdam Nursing Home is actively hiring LPN Team Members for all shifts at our Skilled Nursing Facility in the heart of New York City.

Compensation:

1. Base rate is $35.38 with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts.
2. Non-Union rate is $45/hr.
3. We recently increased our rates!
4. $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions.
5. New grads are welcome!
6. Now hiring directly into the Union!

Responsibilities:

1. Collect required information from new residents for admission.
2. Record health details, including vitals and temperature.
3. Administer medications and injections as needed.
4. Treat and dress wounds and bedsores as necessary.
5. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) if required.
6. Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene.
7. Monitor residents' food and liquid intake and output.

Requirements:

1. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
2. Valid NY State LPN license.
3. In good standing with the State Registry.
