Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a secure facility in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves performing basic nursing duties, following physician orders, managing pill calls and assisting examinations and treatments.

You will work closely with physicians, maintain strict medical record confidentiality, document activities, and support safety and infection control while providing compassionate inmate/resident care.

Qualifications

• Hold an active LPN license valid in New Mexico.
• Proven ability to follow physician orders accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing duties and execute physician orders.
• Attend sick calls with the physician and prepare examination rooms.
• Operate pill call, dispense medications, and document accordingly.
• Control medication and inventory per procedures.
• Document and report activities in medical records.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and equipment.
