Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role can be Full Time, Part Time, or PRN, with an hourly pay of $30-$33.

On every assignment you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to physician orders, and you must maintain accurate documentation and observe signs of patient changes. Benefits include health/dental/vision, and Maxim notes a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray completed.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
