Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads.

As an LPN, you will provide nursing care within the scope of practice, administer medications and treatments, document patient information, and coordinate with healthcare teams. Per diem flexibility and weekly pay are offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license must be maintained and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year as required by facility.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
