Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with broader healthcare teams.

The position offers $37-$39 per hour, per diem hours, and flexible scheduling with options for same-day or next-day pay and a potential bonus after completing two shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
