First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The role offers per diem hours with per diem pay and the option for full-time hours in some facilities.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, collecting patient data, wound care, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Local applicants only.

Formación

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (TB test) within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed by the facility.
