Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This role offers competitive pay with same-day or next-day pay and a hiring bonus after two shifts.

Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD. Per diem positions provide flexible scheduling across local facilities.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
