Genesis in Warwick, RI is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will evaluate residents, assist in nursing assessments and care planning, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff
