Job summary

Proactive MD partners with employers to provide onsite wellness centers, delivering compassionate, comprehensive care focused on the patient. The LPN role is at the forefront of clinical operations, supporting providers, performing tests, and handling administrative tasks for the health and wellness center.

The LPN will assist with treatments, document care, take vital signs, prepare rooms, and help with outreach and engagement activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and active certification as an LPN or LVN.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association valid for at least 90 days after start date
• Occupational health and primary care experience preferred
• Minimum one-year clinical experience as LPN
• Ability to draw blood and confident in blood draw skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA

Responsibilities

• Assists with and documents treatments ordered and supervised by the provider or registered nurse.
• Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
• Interviews patients, measure vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and performs select clinical duties.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
• Performs basic inventory management of supplies and assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

JOB SUMMARY
